Is My Brother My Son?
As an adult, Logan has been forced to confront a profound biological uncertainty: the possibility that his brother is also his biological son. To reach a definitive conclusion, Logan is currently crowdfunding for a DNA test to determine the true nature of his relationship with the teenager.

The circumstances surrounding the boy's birth are rooted in a history of severe trauma. Logan previously disclosed to the Daily Mail that when he was 12 years old, his mother, Gifford, forced him to watch pornographic videos featuring deceased individuals. He stated that Gifford would attempt to use drugs to induce him into reenacting the scenes from those videos.

In 2015, Gifford was convicted of lewdness and attempted sexual assault involving a child under the age of 14. More recently, in early 2025, she breached the terms of her parole by contacting her son to request assistance with applications for government benefits.

Despite the history of abuse, Logan has taken custody of his brother and remains focused on his family's future. Since the teenager moved in with Logan, he has shown significant progress, including weight loss and improved academic performance. Logan describes the boy as a charismatic individual, noting, "He doesn’t appear disabled, he oozes charisma. I took him to go get blood work the other day and he was flirting with the tech... That’s the stuff that people don’t see."

The complexity of the family's situation became particularly evident following the birth of Logan's daughter. The boy, who fundamentally understands the possibility that Logan is both his father and his brother, expressed his confusion by asking, "So, is this my sister or my niece?"

Logan maintains that his priority is advocacy and his children rather than the actions of the perpetrator. Regarding Gifford, he stated, "If she is abiding by the legal restrictions in place, she deserves the opportunity to heal and find her footing again."

However, Logan remains driven by a sense of duty regarding his brother's health and identity. "I think there is a moral obligation for my brother to get answers because he is entitled to know why he is disabled… he needs help, and he deserves peace of mind over his health records," Logan said.
