Iran Strikes US Bases in Retaliation for Attack on Qeshm
Iranian armed forces have launched missile strikes against American military installations in the Middle East. This action follows a reported attack on the islands of Sirik and Qeshm by U.S. forces. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement confirming the retaliation through the Mehr news agency.

"In response to the aggression by the United States against Sirik and the island of Qeshm, enemy bases in the region were struck with missiles," the official statement declared.

Earlier, U.S. Central Command announced that American military personnel targeted Iranian radar stations located in Goruak and on Qeshm island. CENTCOM further reported that U.S. forces successfully shot down four Iranian drones heading toward the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

Despite these escalating military exchanges, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated it is currently working toward an agreement between Tehran and Washington.
