Harris Warns Of Danger As Intruder Disturbs Her Malibu Home

Sep 15, 2026 •Politics

Former Vice President Kamala Harris delivered sharp remarks at a Democratic fireside chat, calling the Trump administration "the most corrupt, callous, and incompetent presidential administration we've ever seen." Fox News contributor Joe Concha lashed out at this language as dangerous. He pointed to past assassination attempts on President Trump and argued that Harris has not toned down her words even as political violence escalates. This rhetoric could signal a willingness to take extreme action.

Late Friday night, Los Angeles sheriff's deputies went to the Malibu residence of former Vice President Kamala Harris after an unidentified woman showed up twice without being invited, according to multiple outlets. The woman arrived by Uber and tried to reach security at the $8 million home. Guards told her she had to leave. She returned anyway. After 10 p.m., Harris's security team called authorities.

The intruder was not arrested, FOX 11 reported. President Donald Trump ended Harris's Secret Service detail a year ago. That decision came after former President Joe Biden extended protection by one year beyond the traditional six months for former vice presidents.

Lt. Jason Duron, a watch commander at the Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff's station, told the Los Angeles Times: "We are stepping up patrols of the property to be safe." Eduardo Negrón, a spokesman for Harris, said this to The Times as well. He stated that security stopped an individual who illegally entered Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman [Doug] Emhoff's property before they reached the home. They expressed gratitude to the swift response from security and law enforcement.

Negrón added that neither Harris nor former second gentleman Doug Emhoff were home at the time of the incident. The couple bought the ritzy property last January. Harris is a native of California. She served as District Attorney of San Francisco, Attorney General of California, and as a senator representing the state before joining Biden's presidential ticket.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the sheriff's department and representatives for Harris for comment. A man who broke into former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's home in San Francisco and attacked her husband with a hammer in 2022 was later sentenced to life in prison without parole.
