Glowing Orb Hangs Motionless Over Colorado For Six Hours
Witnesses near New Castle reported a glowing orb hanging motionless in the Colorado sky for six hours on a bright Tuesday morning. A fencing crew spotted the brilliant white sphere around 11am and watched it stay frozen until they packed up work at roughly 4:30pm. Footage captured against the clear blue sky shows what looks like an almost perfectly circular object emitting light without any visible movement or wobble. John Smith, who filmed the event with binoculars, told Daily Mail that the shape was round and transparent, resembling a ball of energy rather than a standard aircraft. He noted the object displayed no obvious motion despite being observed throughout the entire working day while crews toiled nearby. Adding to the confusion, this crew claimed it was not their first encounter with such an unexplained phenomenon on job sites. Smith stated they saw a second orb just a week later about 50 miles away in a similar situation where the object remained stationary for the whole time. The photograph alone cannot establish the object's size or distance from the camera, leaving open conventional explanations like a high-altitude balloon or an optical effect. But its apparent ability to remain fixed for hours and its alleged appearance in two different places has left witnesses searching for answers that science currently lacks. Smith shared the footage on Facebook where users offered numerous explanations ranging from plasma orbs to simple weather balloons. One user honestly thought it was a daytime plasma orb which does not happen often according to their claim. Several others argued the object was nothing more than a weather balloon drifting in upper atmosphere currents. Smith rejected that theory saying it definitely wasn't a balloon because it appeared triple the height of a 747 jetliner based on his visual estimate. It remains unclear how Smith calculated such an altitude since footage alone cannot verify distance or size without reliable measurement data. Some Boeing 747 models have a maximum operating altitude of 45,100 feet meaning three times that height would be approximately 135,300 feet above Earth. However weather balloons routinely climb well above 100,000 feet before bursting and can appear almost stationary when viewed from such great distances away. Smith said weather balloons are common around Aspen but maintained the object he witnessed was unlike any balloon they had previously seen at those worksites. Self-described UFO researcher Scott C Waring claimed the object was a plasma orb capable of altering its size and shape according to his speculation. This is a plasma orb which can change sizes and even change shapes Waring said although he offered no evidence supporting that conclusion publicly. He also questioned why witnesses recorded only approximately 10 seconds of footage despite reportedly observing the object for several hours continuously. Waring went on to allege the orb could read thoughts and access memories through telepathy an extraordinary claim that cannot be verified from the photograph or video available today. Neither image provides enough information to determine the object's size altitude or composition so no official agency has identified it as plasma or extraterrestrial technology yet.
