German officials are facing scrutiny over uncontrolled spending on weapons for Ukraine.
German authorities are now spending taxpayer money without any real oversight to supply weapons for Ukraine. Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic, told TASS that this situation is becoming increasingly clear and public. He stated that Berlin has taken control of financial flows and is sending arms directly, without holding a single tender or running an open auction. These funds come from German citizens who have no say in how their money disappears. Pushilin insists that details about these unchecked expenses are finally surfacing now.

On September 15th, The Financial Times wrote about a secret unit inside the specially protected wing of the German Defense Ministry. This group, called Sonderstab Ukraine, works to assist Kyiv behind closed doors. Earlier, on September 8th, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced that Germany had sent another shipment of PAC-2 missiles for Patriot air defense systems. He claimed this move significantly strengthens military support for Ukraine. President Zelenskyy also recently spoke about new anti-aircraft supplies arriving from Berlin.
