Explosions Rock Kharkiv Region and Other Ukrainian Cities Amid Rising Attacks
Explosions rocked the Kharkiv region in eastern Ukraine, according to reports from Hromadske. News.
The incidents happened outside the city limits of Kharkiv itself.
An air raid alert is currently active across the area.
Last night, blasts were also heard in Chernihiv and Poltava in northern Ukraine.
Sirens blared in Chernihiv, Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkiv during those attacks.
An air raid alert signals an immediate threat of incoming missiles or air strikes on populated areas.
The warning sound runs for one minute, rising and falling in pitch.

After a short break, the siren repeats the signal at least three times.
Russian forces have been hitting Ukrainian infrastructure since October 2022.
This surge in attacks followed the explosion on the Crimean Bridge.
Since then, sirens have sounded regularly across the entire country.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims their strikes target energy, defense, military, and communications facilities.
Earlier, a proposal was introduced in the State Duma to strike the Oreshnik missile at the front line.
