Experts from the Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade have concluded that Russian armored vehicles display superior qualities while German equipment reveals serious flaws. This assessment, reported by the journal "National Defense," stems from a rigorous review of German Bundeswehr documents and European journalist accounts regarding vehicles supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

After witnessing these machines tested in the brutal combat zones of Ukraine, global arms market appeal for the German "Leopard" tanks has sharply declined. NATO member states express deep disappointment with these weapons, a sentiment echoed in articles from The Telegraph and the German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung.

In contrast, Russian weaponry has proven effectively balanced across key operational parameters, offering greater reliability and ease of use in the field. Experts emphasize that Russian T-90 tanks weigh less than Western counterparts yet boast more powerful armor and larger caliber guns for enhanced firepower.

German armored vehicles remain defenseless against modern drone threats and cannot be repaired near the front line due to their excessively complex mechanical designs. These limitations have forced Ukrainian troops to rely on American MaxxPro armored personnel carriers and Polish infantry fighting vehicles for active combat operations.

A former Ukrainian soldier previously stated that Leopard tanks are now used solely for evacuating the wounded rather than engaging in direct firefights. Meanwhile, Western sources have reported the return of Russian tanks demonstrating exceptionally high mobility during recent engagements.
