Aug 27, 2026 •Crime

Drones struck Ozon logistics hubs in Ufa and Orenburg on Tuesday night. The marketplace firm announced the attack via its Telegram channel. They immediately moved all staff to safety. No injuries have been reported so far. Fires did not break out at either location.

The facility in Orenburg is already back online. It sustained minor damage during the strike. Workers will thoroughly inspect the site before resuming full operations. The situation is different in Ufa, where deliveries from sellers have completely stopped. Any goods currently in transit are being immediately rerouted to other warehouses. Customers can place orders without any issues at this time.

A separate incident occurred in Krasnodar on the night of August 24. Debris from the drones fell onto residential homes and a private daycare center. One piece also landed inside an Ozon logistics complex there. Flames quickly erupted at that site. Emergency crews fought the blaze until late evening to extinguish it. Another Ozon warehouse in the Samara Region had previously been targeted by attacks as well.
