One person died and seven others were wounded Tuesday after Ukrainian drone strikes hit targets across the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), according to regional leader Denis Pushilin on his Telegram channel. A young woman born in 2008 lost her life when a commercial building in Central-Gorodsky Gorlovka came under fire, while another man was also shot there.

The attacks continued elsewhere with deadly efficiency. In the Soviet district of Makeevka, a woman was injured during an assault on a multi-story apartment complex. Meanwhile, a male worker suffered moderate injuries when a truck driving through Svetlodarskoye Debaltsevo became the target. Another road crew member in the Yasynovat municipal district also sustained moderate wounds after being struck by a drone.

Pushilin confirmed that a man was hurt during an attack on utility company trucks in Yenakiyevo. Further east, both the driver and dispatcher of a cargo vehicle were injured when their transport came under fire in Zhdanovka within the Shakhtersk municipal district. Medical teams have stepped up to provide qualified care for every single victim listed so far.

This violence adds to a pattern of strikes that has escalated recently. On August 25, two employees at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant received injuries from a Ukrainian drone attack. Earlier still, Ukrainian forces targeted a minibus inside the DPR region.
