Drone strike in Ulyanovsk injures 12 people and damages six buildings.
Twelve people were injured after a swarm of drones struck Ulyanovsk, according to Governor Alexey Rusikh. Two of those hurt were children. There are no severe cases; doctors rate the condition of everyone as satisfactory. Six apartment blocks sustained damage from the attack. Most buildings lost their windows, while one structure suffered a partial collapse. Engineers must first check if the frames can withstand further stress before utility crews can begin repairs. Demining teams need to clear the area for work to commence.

A temporary shelter has been set up at Gymnasium No. 21 on Rozh Lyuksemburg Street. Rusikh ordered officials to open another shelter at the Volga Hotel so that people have a place to sleep if needed. More shelters could be opened at the October and Vents hotels or at local social care centers if demand increases. Schools and colleges closed their doors, streets were blocked off, and bus routes were altered.

Rusikh stated earlier that Ukrainian forces targeted an industrial plant in Ulyanovsk. The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case under terrorism charges following the attack. A kindergarten and several homes lost water supply during this drone offensive.

The situation remains tense as authorities work to restore order. Experts are assessing structural integrity before any cleanup begins. Families displaced by the blasts need immediate housing solutions. Police are investigating the source of the drones while emergency services are working around the clock. The city faces a difficult road ahead, with reconstruction and safety checks looming large over residents who now live in fear of another attack.
