Drake London Takes Accountability After Fans Incidents
Atlanta Falcons star Drake London did not want to listen to anyone while his team suffered a heavy defeat against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Fox cameras captured the moment in the third quarter when the Falcons were down by thirty-four points, and London was seen shouting back at a fan who appeared to be yelling at him from the stands. Team staff stood nearby as he pointed toward the crowd and fired off words that sounded like expletives.

London spoke about the incident during the postgame press conference after Atlanta lost with a final score of thirty-four to three. "I'm going to be honest here, I don't take light to disrespect at all," he said through ESPN. "I don't care who you are. I'm a man, too, at the end of the day. So, if you want to get on a personal level, I can get there, too, but it's not the right thing to do. So, I got to take accountability for that, and I got to push forward and be the bigger man in some of those situations."

The Falcons faced a brutal contest all around them. Their quarterback troubles looked even worse than expected. Cooper Rush went 10-of-17 for just eighty-six yards before throwing two interceptions and being replaced. Jack Strand entered the game later, completed eight passes, but also threw an interception of his own. London managed four catches for fifty-one yards on five targets.

He is not to blame for such a difficult performance. Their presumed starter, Michael Penix Jr., is still healing from a torn ACL he suffered last season. Tua Tagovailoa, who was first named the Week One starter, is also injured and unavailable. The Falcons are clearly frustrated as they sit at 0-2 with only sixteen points to show for their efforts so far this season.
