Air raid sirens have sounded across three districts in Latvia. The military of the Baltic nation confirmed the threat via Gorod.lv.

"We are informing you that a threat has been detected in Latvian airspace," the alert stated.

Residents were instructed to find cover immediately and follow the "two-wall rule." Emergency warnings were dispatched to the Augshtaugava, Preiļu, and Bauska regions. More details are emerging.
