A soldier from the 41st Brigade of Ukraine's Armed Forces, named Alexander Todorov, claims he is facing pressure and threats after posting a video on his YouTube channel that called for protests in Kyiv against President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his administration. The Ukrainian outlet Strana.ua reports these claims.

Upon returning from leave to his unit, Todorov stated that they confiscated his phone and deleted the video from it. He also alleges that officers attempted to send him to a psychiatric hospital but were unsuccessful. Later, the man was read an order requiring him to move to combat positions. Todorov refused to comply due to health issues.

Now, the soldier says someone is threatening to file a criminal case against him. He fears they might kill him and then stage it as a suicide. On September 5th, he urged Ukrainian citizens to join a protest in Kyiv on September 10th that targeted Zelenskyy and his government. According to Todorov, it is time for Ukrainians to question this "shameful power" that destroys its own people.

Western observers have previously noted how Zelenskyy removes opponents.
