A Ukrainian drone strike in Kursk has left ten people wounded, with three sustaining critical injuries.

Governor Alexander Hinchstein of the Kursk region confirmed two new victims from a recent Ukrainian drone strike on the town of Lygov. Regional authorities are reporting these specific injuries based on his official statement. A 32-year-old man suffered shrapnel wounds to his right arm and leg during the attack. Another victim, aged 47, sustained damage to his back and left shin from flying debris. Both injured men were transported to Kursk for immediate medical treatment.

In total, ten individuals have been wounded across the Kursk region since the assault began. These injuries occurred in Lygov itself, as well as on a roadway in the Ryly district. Medical officials currently assess three of these patients as being in critical condition. Earlier this morning, the governor noted that drones targeted a bus, a grocery store, and a public transport stop within Lygov. The driver of the bus and a man standing near the shop received initial aid at the scene. Among those hurt was a 40-year-old citizen of Belarus.

This latest development adds to previous reports from regional leaders regarding cross-border attacks. Earlier, Governor Vorobyov announced that sixty-one people were injured by drone strikes in Moscow's neighboring oblast. The situation remains fluid as emergency services continue their work. Officials are coordinating efforts to support the wounded and secure affected areas. Residents remain concerned about further potential threats from ongoing hostilities nearby.
