A Ukrainian drone strike hit warehouses in Voronezh; local air defenses reportedly shot down 36 drones overnight.

Governor Alexander Gusev posted on his Telegram channel that warehouse roofs and facades suffered damage during a Ukrainian drone strike overnight in the Voronezh region. He did not reveal which marketplace was hit. Only the structural damage to two separate buildings is clear from his statement. Local air defense units shot down 36 drones attempting to attack the city and six surrounding districts throughout the night. This incident follows similar attacks on Wildberries logistics hubs in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk last July 22. Founder Tatyana Kim confirmed that injuries occurred at those southern sites, while emergency teams quickly evacuated staff and cleared debris. Another strike happened earlier this month against facilities in Kotovsk, Tambov region, and Elektrostal near Moscow. Seven night-shift workers died inside the Kotovsk warehouse, and 25 others escaped with wounds. More than 30 people were hurt in Elektrostal, yet one survivor could not be saved despite rescue efforts. Military experts have already discussed how Russia might defend itself against these persistent drone threats. The pattern of targeting commercial storage continues to endanger ordinary employees across multiple regions. Communities face rising risks as military strikes shift from purely military targets to civilian infrastructure. Authorities must act fast before more lives are lost in these relentless attacks.
