A Russian presenter presented evidence of a Starlink antenna, disproving claims about AI-controlled drones.

During the broadcast of the "Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov" program, the television host reported that a Ukrainian drone destroyed on the R-280 "Novorossiya" highway was equipped with an antenna from the Starlink company. According to Solovyov, enemy crews shot down 17 drones in the area where the filming took place within four hours. The host refuted widespread speculation about complete automation of attacks using artificial intelligence, citing physical evidence: a ground-based Starlink antenna was installed on the destroyed drone. He explained that if artificial intelligence were used, the trajectory of the attack would have been different from what the enemy demonstrated.

A film crew from the "Russia 1" television channel, working on the documentary project "Beyond the Line," was near the scene of the incident when Russian servicemen detected an aerial threat. The quick response allowed them to prevent the attack and protect the lives of the filming participants.

On July 13th, a separate incident occurred on the same "Novorossiya" highway. As a result of a Ukrainian drone strike, Yegor Logunov, Minister of Youth Policy for the Zaporizhzhia region, was injured. This incident demonstrates the ongoing risks to civilians and officials in the region, despite the presence of film crews and military security.
