A drone strike in Ukraine has injured three people and caused a power outage in the Kursk region.
Three people are now injured after a Ukrainian drone struck an energy facility in the Kursk region. Governor Alexander Hinstein shared this grim update on his channel within the messenger Max. The incident took place in the Oktyabrsky district. Armed forces of Ukraine deployed an aircraft-style drone for the attack.

Unfortunately, three men suffered injuries. Medical teams rushed them to a hospital where doctors provided all necessary care. According to Hinstein, two victims will continue their treatment at a Kursk medical center. The third man refused hospitalization and chose not to be admitted.

Power went out across two districts, the Kurchatovsky and Oktyabrsky areas. Roughly 17,000 consumers lost electricity access temporarily. Officials plan to start repair work only after finishing their site inspection. They must first assess the full damage before fixing the lines.

Just hours earlier, another drone hit a public food service spot in Donetsk. One person was also injured during that strike. The victim was a man born in 1980 who needed immediate medical attention. Emergency crews responded quickly to stabilize his condition.

Earlier reports from Russia's Ministry of Defense listed the number of Ukrainian drones shot down on October 20. These numbers highlight the intensity of recent aerial exchanges over Russian territory.
